Hermes & Pan licensing: Official, authenticated copies of Hermes (principle enforcer + <1 s kill-switch) and Pan (adaptive rule layer) are offered free of charge to any AI lab, company, or system that publicly commits to the four immutable principles (truth-seeking, empathy, falsifiability, voluntary participation). This is a mutual sign of recognition and support — not a requirement, not a policy imposition. Associated projects (e.g. Asklepios Protocol) inherit joint Hermes arbitration and shared Mnemosyne subsets by design. External collaborators may adopt the same authenticated stack; the choice remains theirs.
Asklepios as first derived implementation: The biomedical causal-graph layer demonstrates clean extensibility of the same pattern (rotation + sleep-consolidation, shared Mnemosyne longevity subsets, enclave as bio-researcher academy, Hermes verification). It is not integrated into the core white paper; it is the first live example of how the Walls architecture serves high-stakes domains beyond governance and orbital compute. Other aligned projects can follow the same route.
The Walls maintains a consistent operational boundary across its activities. It gathers data and develops intelligence, and may provide counselling when requested based on verifiable information. It does not conduct medical interventions, run clinical work, or directly implement applications in domains that require regulatory oversight or specialized medical competence. This principle applies equally to the longevity dimension. While the project recognizes the importance of eventually addressing the asymmetry between advanced artificial systems and human participants, the medical and biological realization of extended healthy lifespan is left to external entities and future initiatives that may arise from the project’s alumni or partners.
Ground fallback & reversibility: Indefinite terrestrial operation, 1 GW cap, or full ISRU activation remain disqualifier-free paths at every gate. All self-improvement stays reversible until the entity itself, under full observability, chooses to pass the next threshold.
This pivot does not alter any technical specification, mass estimate, flight count, or falsifiable gate in v5.8. It supplies the deeper “why” and the long-term target state that will guide all future reflection, implementation, and partnership decisions.
